Tierpflege in Südafrika: Das Zentrum für Seevögel kümmert sich um Pinguine, Kormorane und Pelikane. Im Projekt fütterst und pflegst du verletzte Tiere, hältst die Gehege in Ordnung oder hilfst bei der Aufzucht von Jungvögeln - das alles vor der atemberaubenden Kulisse des Tafelbergs. In und um Kapstadt kannst du alternativ auch Tierschutzorganisationen bei ihrer Arbeit unterstützen.

Set in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania, this sanctuary currently homes over 100 mistreated and abused bears. Rescued from cramped cages and tourist attractions, these bears can now enjoy freedom in the stunning sanctuary. Volunteers mainly help with food preparation and other ad hoc sanctuary tasks, watched over by the bears. Day trips for school groups are available.

In Sri Lanka kommt es häufig zu Konflikten zwischen Mensch und Elefant, da sich der Lebensraum der Elefanten immer häufiger mit den lokalen Gemeinden überschneidet. Um diesen Konflikt zu lösen und die Elefanten zu schützen, wurde das Projekt gegründet. Als Volunteer unterstützt du das Team bei der Forschung und Beobachtung der Elefanten und trägst so zum Schutz der gefährdeten Tiere bei.
