Women’s emancipation internship in Argentina

This international humanitarian internship consists of two missions: a field mission within a local women’s association, where women support each other through training, sports activities, and workshops, and a mission with an international NGO that raises funds to support local associations.

These women are looking to acquire skills that will help them find employment or work independently in the future. Most participants are between 16 and 22 years old. Whatever form your contribution takes, joining our women’s empowerment project will be both rewarding and meaningful. Although they may be shy at first, the women you meet will soon prove to be warm, friendly, and eager to learn.

Half of the week, international humanitarian interns participate in workshops to build connections with the women in the project. Once integrated, they can interact with them, provide guidance or assistance, or simply listen and understand their experiences. Volunteers will also help organize events where the association sells its handmade products.

The other half of the week, participants work with an international NGO that supports local associations. Within this internship, possible missions include:

• Mobilizing resources from international and local donors to fund grassroots women’s initiatives and organizations in Latin America.
• Promoting and strengthening women’s leadership within their local initiatives, organizing exchange meetings with other women, and connecting them with technical and financial resources.
• Conducting research on topics relevant to the global development agenda.
• Providing support during meetings and events, including international conferences and workshops.
• Managing the NGO’s social media channels to promote projects and share professional experiences through effective communication strategies.
