Join a wildlife rescue team and care for the animals in the sanctuary. Provide food and enrichment for a variety of animals including monkeys, sloths and anteaters that have been injured, orphaned or mistreated. This international veterinary internship takes place at a shelter in the Amazon, near Puyo, where abused animals or those rescued from illegal trade are cared for. Participants will work alongside experts with wildlife species, receiving personalized guidance to assess their progress.
