The aim of this program is to support local staff in their daily work. You will be placed in different structures where your tasks may vary.
Your missions, among others, include:
You may be placed in different structures such as nurseries, schools, and centers for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. In nurseries, children are introduced to the French language from an early age. Their independence, socialization, and creative development are encouraged through play.
You will work closely with local teams to design and lead educational, linguistic, or recreational activities adapted to the children’s ages and needs.
You can also take part in a project with children with mild mental disabilities – please contact us for more information.
At the beginning, you will have an orientation session introducing the overall organization, rules, and useful advice for a smooth experience. After that, a coordinator will present the program and your daily tasks.
On regular weekdays, the program continues with interacting with the children, organizing fun activities, supervising meals, and preparing classes with local staff.
You generally work from 8 am to 4 pm, though this may vary depending on the project or the time of year. If you work on weekends, you will get a compensatory day off during the week.
This schedule allows you to enjoy free time in the afternoons and weekends to discover the city and its surroundings. Many activities are available on site, and the local teams will be happy to give you advice.
