Two projects are available

Mastering English is essential for the youth of Nosy Be, as it is one of the island’s main tourist destinations. Having the opportunity to practice it at such a young age allows them to learn more effectively and benefit from it in the future. Learning is mostly done through play.

Kindergarten teaching programs focus on the most disadvantaged children in often underfunded schools.

Volunteers’ responsibilities include organizing fun activities under the supervision of teachers and regularly assessing progress.

A typical day includes four hours of teaching at the school, with the possibility of two additional hours at a community center.

As a foreign teacher, you provide students with the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You can join this project even without prior teaching experience, as your role will mainly be to assist local teachers in teaching various subjects such as history, mathematics, science, or English.

Your role will also include lesson planning, supporting students, creating engaging activities, and assessing their progress.

During your teaching activities, punctuality is essential. Come prepared: you need to be creative, cheerful, and patient. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees.
