The Wildlife Rescue Center is a family-run private organization that is fully dedicated to the rescue, protection, and rehabilitation of animals that have suffered from mistreatment, neglect, illegal trafficking, or any other form of abuse. Many of these animals arrive at the center in very fragile physical and emotional condition, often requiring urgent medical attention, specialized treatment, and long-term care. The rescued animals are placed under the care of the center by forest rangers, who are a branch of the National Police and operate under the authority of the National Government. This partnership ensures that wildlife in danger is properly removed from harmful situations and transferred to a safe environment where their recovery can begin.
At the Wildlife Rescue Center, every animal is carefully examined and provided with all necessary vaccinations and medical care. The center works with a wide range of wildlife species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and other native animals. The primary long-term objective of the project is to rehabilitate these animals so that, whenever possible, they can be released back into their natural habitats and live freely again. The team focuses not only on physical healing but also on restoring the animals’ natural behaviors, which is essential for their successful reintegration into the wild.
Currently, several important programs are running at the center. These include educational programs designed to raise awareness in the local community about wildlife protection, conservation, and the consequences of animal mistreatment. There are also recovery programs specifically aimed at helping sick, injured, or abused animals regain their strength and health. In addition, the center runs reproduction programs for endangered species, helping to preserve biodiversity and support the survival of animals that are at risk of extinction. Together, these programs play a vital role in protecting wildlife and promoting a more responsible and compassionate relationship between humans and nature.
