Nursing Internship in Sri Lanka

Since January 2015, many nursing students have completed their mandatory international internships through humanitarian missions. This medical internship in Sri Lanka is open to all students in the healthcare field and recognized by several regional IFSI coordinators. It is also suitable for physiotherapy students and professionals such as doctors, nurses, pediatricians, dentists, pharmacists, or caregivers.

Like all our medical and nursing programs abroad, this project in Sri Lanka allows you to validate your academic year while gaining practical experience and contributing to the United Nations’ goal of universal healthcare access.

Our organization specializes in international internships with a strong social or environmental impact.Based in Barcelona, we offer certified internships in more than 25 countries, in collaboration with local NGOs, impact-driven companies, and B Corp enterprises across fields such as health, education, environment, construction, and international cooperation.Each placement is supervised on-site by professionals, with full support provided before, during, and after the mission. We work with students seeking to validate a mandatory internship while contributing to a meaningful project.Our programs are also open to professionals wishing to discover new skills and practices.All our projects are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programs are flexible, verified, and 100% supervised.

Unterbringung & Verpflegung:

You will stay in one of the two volunteer houses, located in the Unawatuna area, just a 15-minute drive from the center of Galle and a 5-minute walk from the beach. These houses have multiple (non-mixed) bedrooms accommodating 4 to 6 people each and are equipped with bathrooms. Breakfasts and dinners are included.
