Medical and nursing internship in Morrocco

Develop your skills through a medical or nursing internship. You will have the opportunity to train alongside qualified professionals in a rich and stimulating international environment. Interns are placed in renowned hospitals and private institutions in the city of Tangier.

You will be assigned according to your skills and local needs, with access to a wide range of specialties: medical, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, osteopathy, and dentistry.

The goal is to help you gain hands-on experience in your field of study or professional training. This internship can count towards your academic requirements and is available for a minimum duration of 2 weeks.

Your missions as an intern
Your tasks may vary depending on your skills, level of study, and chosen professional field. Please note that the internship requires a basic to intermediate level of French, depending on the placement. Students are in direct contact and interact with hospital staff and patients. Most doctors and nurses speak French, and some also speak English.

You will assist the local hospital staff in their daily duties:

• Assist during consultations and treatments.
• Observe local doctors and nurses during operations and other medical procedures.
• Participate in basic care, wound dressing, blood pressure measurement, and medication preparation.

Depending on your specialty, your tasks may differ, but all are aimed at supporting the medical staff and helping you gain real field experience in an international environment. You will work approximately 35 hours per week.
