Nursing and Medical Internship in Cambodia

We collaborate with four hospitals in Cambodia that can host up to 35 students throughout the year as part of an international nursing internship.
Interns are assigned based on their specialization and the needs of each hospital.

If you are flexible and wish to diversify your experience, it is possible to spend one or two weeks on an educational project in a local school, participating in health prevention and awareness activities.

Like all our medical and paramedical programs abroad, this internship in Cambodia allows you to validate your training while contributing to the UN’s goal of equitable access to healthcare for all.

Our Partner Hospitals in Phnom Penh

The partner hospitals receive several hundred patients each day, often from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Some are training centers supported by international NGOs that train local healthcare staff and provide free care to patients without medical coverage.

Each hospital employs between 100 and 400 staff members, mostly Cambodian.
Some staff have been trained by volunteer healthcare professionals sent by international humanitarian organizations.

Intern Responsibilities

Students mainly have a role of observation and assistance alongside medical staff: doctors, nurses, and caregivers.
Access to surgery departments is available for students after three years of study or for experienced professionals.

Participants with prior international experience may also engage in public health and prevention activities in rural areas.
