Program Description:

Our partner clinic is a modern and well-equipped facility committed to providing high-quality medical care to the local community. The clinic has a capacity of 100 patients distributed across long-term hospitalization, intensive care, coronary care, and short-term hospitalization units.

In addition, the partner hospital includes an oncology department, a renal dialysis unit, a delivery room, a neonatology ward, a laboratory, and a medical imaging unit.

Like all our nursing and medical internship programs abroad, this project in Argentina allows you to validate your academic year while gaining valuable field experience and contributing to the United Nations’ goal of ensuring access to healthcare for all.

Challenges for Interns in Argentina:

One of the main challenges in Argentina’s public health sector is the shortage of medical staff. Motivated and proactive interns play a crucial role in supporting medical teams, allowing healthcare professionals to dedicate more time to each patient.

Interns rotate weekly through different departments and work between 5 and 7 hours per day within the clinic.

Supervised and assessed by local medical staff, their responsibilities vary according to their personality, skills, and level of Spanish. Task assignments remain at the discretion of the supervising team.

Optional Spanish Courses and Activities:

Volunteers can choose to take a one-week Spanish language course in Córdoba before starting their placement. This week helps improve their language proficiency while discovering Argentine culture.

Fees:

• 20 hours of group classes: €420 per week (accommodation + activities included)
• 10 hours of private classes: €420 per week (accommodation + activities included)
• Online classes: €210 per week
