This humanitarian construction internship abroad will take you to the mountainous kingdom of Eswatini, where you’ll work alongside our team at our local accommodations.
Participant Missions
Your role may include:

The role may involve every stage of project planning, design, and construction for our partner initiatives.
Examples include painting and decorating, demolition, building temporary structures, masonry, landscaping, maintaining green spaces, and installing drinking water purification systems.
Typical Schedule
Itinerary
Day 1: Join the team in South Africa, who will transfer you to your accommodation.
Day 2: Orientation day to discover the country’s culture and gain a better understanding of Eswatini.
Day 3: Meet the project team you’ll be working with. You’ll begin the construction project and review internship goals and expected outcomes.
Days 4–5 (and other weekdays): After the initial group meeting, you’ll have flexibility to organize your week. You’ll decide which days to spend on-site and which to dedicate to office-based research and planning — allowing you to make the most meaningful contribution to the project.
Days 6–7 (weekend): Weekends are free for you to relax or explore the local landscapes.
Departure Day: End of your humanitarian construction internship abroad. You’ll be transferred from your accommodation to the airport for your return flight.
