In Sri Lanka leben zahlreiche Hunde wild auf der Straße. In unserem Hundeprojekt werden diese Straßenhunde versorgt, gepflegt, kastriert, geimpft und nach Möglichkeit in ein neues Zuhause vermittelt. Du unterstützt das Team insbesondere bei der Pflege und Fütterung der Hunde und gewöhnst die oft scheuen Tiere, z.B. durch Spielen, mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen an den Menschen.

Das Besondere? Während deiner Freiwilligenarbeit arbeitest du an zwei verschiedenen Standorten. Als Volunteer unterstützt du Kindergärten, der unter Personal- und Materialmangel leidet. Du hilfst dem einheimischen Fachpersonal indem du mit den Kindern spielst, bastelst und ihnen erste Wissensgrundlagen beibringst. Damit bereitest du sie auf den Vorschuleinstieg vor.
