Education Mission in Laos

You will work 3 to 4 hours a day in one of two kindergartens (ages 2 to 4) or in various schools (ages 4 to 12) where we provide assistance by teaching the basics of English to the children, organizing activities, and helping the local staff. This is the perfect place to learn more about the local culture while helping the communities. Although we aim to follow a school curriculum, we also focus on informal education. You will have a few extra hours during the week to create lessons or activities for the students. The classes can cover a wide range of content, from games, sports, and music to crafts and life skills like health, all while using the English language.

Assist teams that are understaffed and reduce the workload of local teams.
Share your experience working with children and gain skills.
Improve children's education through learning English.
On the Monday of your first week on-site, you will participate in our orientation day to familiarize yourself with the surroundings and local culture. You will attend an introductory meeting covering house rules, expectations/desires, health and safety advice, lessons on living rules in Laos, the country’s culture, and the language. This will be followed by a tour of the premises and the local area (local shops, SIM card, etc.).

Several activities are organized throughout the week: a barbecue night every Tuesday evening, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and interact with other participants! A movie night at the accommodation every Wednesday evening. A night out at a restaurant every Thursday evening to enjoy one of Southeast Asia's favorite activities: karaoke.
